I rated the BrightWish Disco Lights for Parties, 36 LED Stage Lights with DMX & Remote Control with 4 stars.I think that this little disco light is a good value for money.It arrived packed well and in terms of how it looks, it looks plasticky but it’s very light as a result.The pack consist the light, a stand, a remote control and an instruction sheet. You will have to plug the light in and the cable isn’t the longest so this can be tricky for some.I really like all the effects/options and the colours and it does add a great fun to a party!I can 100% recommend it.

Backlighting OK but not for disco!
I struggled to get to grips with this light – it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t “wow”.As a background effect it worked well with a good range of colours. As a disco light it was poor. We couldn’t get the remote to do much other than change RGB. It was certainly not intuitive. Response to music was poor.As a plug in option it was lightweight but stood well on its stand. You are limited by the length of the flex unless you extend.Don’t look at the lights directly – they are strong!

Excellent disco light, ready to plug in straight out of the box. It has a remote to change the colours to your taste. Excellent for all sorts of parties and events. It is very powerful, it can easily be seen even in brightish rooms. Brilliant and durable!

Decent little DMX light…
As a simple little party light, this is pretty good. The supplied remote offers basic control over preset features such as simple RGB lighting control and to enable sound-to-light modes, but obviously to get the best from it you really need to connect with a DMX controller.I tried with a USB-to-DMX controller and can confirm it works well so I’m happy to recommend

Inexpensive party light, but has limited control via the remote
Honestly, this isn’t too bad for twenty quid. It’s obviously doing an impression of a more expensive metal bodied, probably light. Everything here is very plastic – including the light lenses – and the arm supports are very slender metal (although, they function perfectly well).As others have mentioned here, you need to run this via DMX to gain full control over the fixture. The remote offers rudimentary control and is a bit cumbersome to operate – unless you just want to light the corner of a room or something similar.The AC cable is pretty short, which again is ok if you have sockets on your T bars, but annoying if you don’t. The DMX is three pin. On the whole, pretty good for home discos and possibly small stage productions.

The BrightWish Disco Lights have been fantastic for my son, who has additional needs, especially with his sensitivity to lights. These lights have a variety of modes and are really easy to control with the remote, which is perfect for setting the right atmosphere. The 36 LED lights offer vibrant colours, and the DMX function gives us great flexibility in adjusting the settings. It’s been a fun and engaging way for him to enjoy sensory play without overwhelming him.

Good Value for Money
The light was for my son, to backlight/upplight against his his wall behind his gaming PC. The light is lightweight and comes with a remote to change the colours and patterns. Light brightness is very good. And there a plenty of options for various light sequences. The unit also supports DMX in/out, so you can hook up with multiple lights and sync the light changing sequences. You need to buy an additional cable to use the DMX feature. The item box came damaged and the mounting brackets slightly bent, so possibly damaged in transit..

Disco party light
This has a very short lead necessitating the use of and extension cable.The mounting brackets were missing making it impossible to angle, the unit can only be stood on end or laid down.The lighting modes have to be manually changed using the buttons on the back of the light or the remote.The colours are bright and vibrant and do fill the room unfortunately though without the brackets it can’t be angled properly.
